Taxi 5 is a 2018 action-comedy film that continues the popular French Taxi film series. Directed by Franck Gastambide, the movie brings back the beloved character of Sylvain Marot, a skilled police officer and a notorious taxi driver.
In Taxi 5, Sylvain Marot is transferred from Marseille to Paris to help the French police catch a group of Italian robbers who are wreaking havoc in the city. With his exceptional driving skills and his customized taxi, Marot becomes an essential asset in the mission.
However, the real challenge lies in teaming up with Eddy Maklouf, a powerful businessman and a car enthusiast. Eddy is the owner of a high-tech taxi company and agrees to help Marot on the condition that he fulfills one small favor.
Together, Marot and Eddy embark on an action-packed adventure to take down the robbers and restore peace in the streets of Paris. They encounter car chases, explosive situations, and comedic mishaps along the way.
