Island of Fire (Hỏa Thiêu Hòn Đảo) is a gripping action film released in 1990, directed by Kevin Chu and starring Jackie Chan, Tony Leung Ka-fai, and Sammo Hung.
The story is set on an unnamed tropical island that has become a haven for dangerous criminals and illegal activities. The island is controlled by a ruthless gang led by General Ow Yang (played by Tony Leung Ka-fai). Their activities include drug trafficking, slave labor, and weapons smuggling. Ow Yang's iron grip on the island has made it a terrifying place to live, with residents living in constant fear.
The film follows the journey of undercover police officer Chien Fu (played by Jackie Chan), who is tasked with infiltrating the gang and bringing them to justice. Chien Fu manages to successfully infiltrate the gang, gaining their trust and rising up the ranks. As he gathers evidence against the gang, he forms unexpected alliances with fellow undercover officer Yeung Lam (played by Sammo Hung) and local nurse Li Ting (played by Emily Chu).
As the trio uncovers the true extent of the gang's criminal activities, they become determined to put an end to their reign of terror. Chien
